About CPAWS

CPAWS NB is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the permanent protection of New Brunswick’s wilderness areas. Our goal is to work cooperatively with groups, governments, industry and individuals across our great province to ensure the future survival of New Brunswick’s wilderness areas and the species they contain.

The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is Canada’s only nationwide charity dedicated solely to the protection of our public land and water, and ensuring our parks are managed to protect the nature within them. Our vision is to protect at least half of our public land and water so that future generations can experience Canada’s irreplaceable wilderness. There are 13 chapters located across the country.

Like all other charities, our ability to continue working on these important issues depends on charitable contributions from individuals and organizations. When you become a member of CPAWS NB, you will receive regular newsletters from both us and our national organization, and occasional notices of events. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped make New Brunswick a better place. Click here to become a member.
