On Sept. 8, 2010, CPAWS NB hosted a public forum where candidates for the coming provincial election could respond to questions from CPAWS and the general public.  All parties were invited, and we were pleased that representatives for three of the provincial parties attended: they were Jean-Louis Deveau (Green Party), Greg Byrne (Liberal Party) and Genevieve MacRae (New Democratic party).  Questions for the evening focussed on park, wilderness and forestry issues.  Although the weather outside was quite stormy, the weather inside was warm.  CPAWS NB would like to thank the candidates, moderator, and members of the public for their participation in this forum.
